Questions to consider:

  • What kinds of data does the project use or showcase? Who created the dataset?
  • In what context/why was the data created or gathered?
  • How is the data in this project formatted or presented?
  • Who created the project? Are they the same person/people who created the dataset?
  • What is the purpose of the project? Why was it created?
  • Who is the audience of this project?
  • What platforms or tools are being used to create and/or host this project?
  • Do you like the project? What do you like about it and why? What do you not like about it and why?
  • Is the project accessible?
    • Is it financially accessible (i.e. are there paywalls? Is it subscription-only?
    • Is the content accessible (i.e. how is it written? Could a non-expert understand the content?)

Collaborative graphic design tool with built-in code editor. For those with some technical know-how!

Visme

Graphic design tool and content maker. Good, but not as good as Canva.

Google Slides

Collaborative presentation editor hosted within Google Drive. Turn the orientation to portrait to create posters and zines.
